Open Auditions for Caryl Crane Youth Theatre’s

Caryl Crane Youth Theatre is holding open auditions for its upcoming production Disney’s ALADDIN JR., July 26, 2019, in the McBride Auditorium at BGSU Firelands College. Disney’s ALADDIN JR. will be presented September 26-29, 2019.

Seeking performers ages 6-13 for the production!

Great roles available for actors, singers and dancers, ages 6 through 13. No experience necessary! To participate in ALADDIN JR., you must be age 6 or above by the first rehearsal on August 26, 2019. Rehearsals will be weekday evenings between 5 pm – 7:30 pm. Roles may be double-cast for this production.

All – Please learn “Prince Ali” from ALADDIN JR. Lyrics can be found below, the CCYT website or the CCYT Facebook page. Memorization is not required. The selection and sheets with the lyrics will be available at the audition.

DANCE
All: There will be a short dance call after the singing audition. You may or may not be asked to stay and dance. You may be asked to read or sing additional material if the director needs to see more. If a reading is needed, sides will be available at check-in. There will be no callbacks for this production.

As with all BGSU Firelands College Theatre and Caryl Crane Youth Theatre main-stage productions, there is NO tuition. We ask that a $20 donation be made by each cast member to help cover the costs of scripts and musical materials as well as costumes. The Cast List will be posted on Sunday, July 28 by 5 pm. The cast will be notified when scripts are available and a detailed rehearsal schedule will be provided upon completion of casting.
