All Huron City Schools students will follow a two-hour delayed start schedule on Friday, December 7. The district scheduled three delayed starts throughout the school year, to serve as professional learning sessions for all faculty and staff. Each Vertical Alignment session allows for all staff to meet as departments, and across grade levels to review student achievement data and instructional practices. The delayed starts will provide our team the opportunity to review student academic performance data, and instructional methods to determine if we are on target to achieve our student learning priorities set forth for the year.

Parents and students are encouraged to visit the districts website to review building and transportation times. There will not be A.M. Tigers Kids Club during delayed starts.

Planned two-hour delayed starts:
Friday, December 7, 2018
Friday, March 1, 2019

If there are any questions, parents are encouraged to contact a building principal or the superintendent’s office at 419-433-1234 ext. 5000.
