Huron City Schools Making History with Recent Heat Wave

Extreme temperatures and high humidity closed Huron City Schools on Wednesday September 5, 2018. This is the first time Huron City Schools closed due to extreme heat temperatures. Superintendent Dennis Muratori and surrounding area superintendent’s decided to close over concern for students who are in buildings without air conditioning.

Team Work Unlocked the Door of Opportunity for McCormick Jr. High Renovations raising 10K in Donations

The McCormick Jubilee Committee presented Huron School District with over $10,000 raised through the Jubilee Celebration and the sale of bricks, that will continue to be sold and line the entrance to McCormick School. You can contact the Huron Board Education office or Huron Chamber of Commerce to purchase a brick.
