Safety Town Pre-Registration Information

Safety Town is a single two-week program, June 10-13 & June 17-20, 2019 - for children planning to enter Kindergarten in the Fall 2019. Planned curriculum, combined with fun activities, help children learn important safety lessons. Pre-registration required -- more information here.

Elementary Schools and Library to Deliver Letters to Santa

Local kids can start sending their letters to Santa early. Drop off locations with mailboxes include Shawnee, The Woodlands and the Library. Letters will be delivered directly to the North Pole and Santa will be sending letters back in response. Be sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your drop off.

Student Volunteers Needed for Pumpkin Fest

We're accepting STUDENT VOLUNTEERS for the Pumpkin Festival (must be in 7th grade or older). Volunteers help with children games and pumpkin painting. Limited spaces--volunteers assigned in the order forms are received. Complete the Volunteer Form from City of Huron's website. Forms are also available at Huron High School Guidance Office.

Huron Athletic Booster Fundraiser

Save the date!  Please join the Huron Athletic Boosters for our annual fundraiser that benefits scholarships for the Huron High School athletes.  This will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Huron Yacht Club.  Doors open at 5:30 PM with dinner served at 6:00 pm.
