Extreme temperatures and high humidity closed Huron City Schools on Wednesday September 5, 2018. This is the first time Huron City Schools closed due to extreme heat temperatures. Superintendent Dennis Muratori and surrounding area superintendent’s decided to close over concern for students who are in buildings without air conditioning.
